EFLA/STONE MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL
- Interns hone their entrepreneurship skills and knowledge of Black history by analyzing and critiquing EFLA's business plan and online Standing on the Shoulders of Giants Black history curriculum.
- Interns help market and promote EFLA's pioneering Black history curriculum by designing and creating social media ads, 60 second promo videos, as well as design and creating marketing merchandise such as t-shirts, and more...
- Interns gain real-world business experience that they can add to their professional resume and include on their college application, all while getting paid!
2017 SUMMER YOUTH INTERNSHIP
Thank you for your interest in EFLA's 2017 Summer Internship Program in partnership with Stone Mountain High School.
We are looking for talented 10 Stone Mountain High School students who are interested in developing their entrepreneurship skills and knowledge of Black history through a paid internship!
Get Paid to Learn! Interns receive $9 an hour and do not work on Fridays or the weekends!
Study Black History From The Beginning: Students complete Unit 1 of EFLA's Standing on the Shoulders of Giants Black history curriculum, which studies Black history from the origins of humanity in Africa to the end of the Ancient Kemetic/Egyptian Empire.
WHO: All Stone Mountain High School Students (including incoming freshman and graduating seniors).
WHEN: June 5, 2017 - July 14, 2017 (Monday - Thursday 10am - 3:30pm).
WHERE: Stone Mountain High School, 4555 Central Drive
Stone Mountain, Georgia 30083.
PAY: $9 an hour.
