Unit 1: Class 15 - Ancient Egypt: Greco-Roman Period (332 B.C. – 476 A.D.) 

Unit 1, Class 15 explores the Greco-Roman period of ancient Kemet (Egypt), which begin when Alexander the Great conquered the Persians in 332 B.C. and ends with the fall of Rome in 476 A.D. 

Unit 1 Class 15 chronicles life in ancient Egypt during the time of the Greeks and then the Romans. How did the Greeks and Romans influence Egyptian culture? How did Egyptian culture influence the Greeks and Romans? Unit 1 Class 15 also features a slide show of ancient Egypt under Greek and Roman rule.

Finally, this class discusses the famous story of Cleopatra VII and Julius Caesar and the neverending controversy concerning whether or not she was Black or White.
